Technical Sales Executive / Business Development Manager

Our client is a highly successful, innovative organisation engaged in engineering projects, including plant installation, lifting and the transport of machinery and process plant.
Sales are to a wide range of clients and industries and major manufacturers, both in the UK and throughout Europe.

Requirements:

As the successful candidate you will be a proactive sales professional with developed sales and relationship management skills. The ideal person will be fast paced and commercially aware, quick to recognise potential business opportunities and act accordingly.

Experience in selling services business to business and dealing at all levels in presentation and negotiation is essential. Previous experience in selling engineering services is not critical, but would certainly be an advantage.

• Identify and recommend strategic initiatives to create and develop opportunities to maximise the Company’s existing and future key account growth and profitability.

Duties:

• Capture new business in strategically agreed market sectors.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers in customer and target organisations ensuring strong partnerships are achieved.
• To proactively achieve growth of profitable customer accounts in agreed market sectors.
• Participate in the development of new project proposals.
• There will be preset appointments made by specialist telemarketers to aid the successful candidate with appointments so they may present to key decision makers.

Salary:
£30,000 – £40,000 p.a basic. Realistic OTE £70,000. Package: Company Car, expenses, laptop, mobile phone etc.
